Step1, Warm-up
1, Greetings.
2, chant ”panda panda panda” and “bob bob bob” with actions
3. review the text on P6.
Step2. lead in and presentation
T: Boys and girls, look at the screen, what’s this? Ss: bird.
T: Yes, it’s a bird.
T: But, what color?
Ss: red
T: Oh, yes. How clever. red, red, rr /r/ ee/e/ dd/d/ red red
Ss: red.
(different ways to practise the word “red” whole---groups----boys and girls----individuals)
T: I ask, you answer. What color?
S: red.
T: Yes, you should say “It’s red”.
Ss: It’s red.
T point to the bow which is red and ask: What color?
Ss: It’s red.
(same way to lead in and practise other colors—yellow, green, blue, black, white.)
Step3: Practice
1. The teacher teach the students to read the color words once more.
T: red/yellow/green/blue/black/white

2. games: bomb bomb
make two words to the bombs, when the students read the word, they should mime the sound of the bomb.
3. sentence practise

T Point to the color in the classroom and ask the Ss: What color?
Ss: It’s red/ yellow/ green/ blue…
3. Teacher invite some students to come to the front to point to the color,

4. individual practise
1. Work in pairs, one point, the other say, then change the role.
2. The teacher invite some pairs to come to the front, and show to the classmates.
Step4. Back to books.
1. open the books, and turn to page14, find the colors and circle.
2. point to the color words and read.
