 Unit 1 Are you feeling sad?

                          

Teaching Aims:

1 知识目标:

  1 学习掌握本课单词:feel, nothing, secret, surprise, tell, bored, angry, sad, chess

  2)  学习掌握本课的重点句型:

1 Are you feeling sad /bored/angry/happy?

  2 I feel sad/ bored/ angry / happy…

2  技能目标:

  1 会用本课的句子关心他人的感受,并表达自己的感情

Are you feeling …?/ I  feel….

  2)  理解本课的内容

 3 情感目标: 培养学生的关心他人的品质,勇于表达自己的内心感受,培养学生的自信心和合作精神以及用英语交流沟通的能力。

 4  学习策略: 培养学生自主学习,合作学习的能力,以及积极参加语言交流,用英语思维的能力。

Important points :

1          掌握本课词汇:feel, bored, chess, angry , nothing, secret, tell, surprise

2          本课重点句型: Are you feeling …?   I  feel ….

运用任务: 运用本课知识向同学介绍你现在的感受。

Teaching tools : project, tape, paper faces

                       

Teaching procedure

Step1: Warm up:

T: Helloeveryone

Ss: Hello, teacher

T: How are you today?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you! And you?

T: I’m fine, too! Thanks!

  Tell me, please! What did you do at the weekend?

(Students make answers.)

T: Tell me, please! Where did you go at the weekend?

(Students make answers.)

T: Tell me, please! Did you do you homework last night?

(Students make answers, Yes, I did. No, I didn’t.)

T: I think you must do you homework every day. Why? Because when you do you homework, you can review what you learn at school. So you finish your homework is important and necessary. You must do homework everyday.(对孩子们进行德育教育,让他们养成按时完成作业的好习惯。)

Sept2: Learn new words:

T: Ok, ‘tell me’ means …(在黑板上板书“tell” )

Make sure the students know the meaning.

T: Please look at the screen, tell me, what do you think it is?

(课件出示一个圆,让学生进行猜想)

  I think it’s an egg.

S1: I think it’s a sun.

S2: I think it’s a ball.

…………

T: OK, so many things.(继续出示课件,此时的圆变成了脸)

  Now, it’s a……

SsIt’s a face.

T : Yes, it’s a face, and it’s a……(此时变换语调,让学生说出词语“happy”)

  I feel happy.(采用拼读的方式领读单词)

(继续出示课件,出现一张悲伤的脸,教授新单词sad

(继续以同样的方法教授angrybored。在教授读音的过程中,主要以拼读为主,让孩子感觉像在拼汉语拼音一样。)

在讲每个情绪单词时,运用I feel……提前给孩子语音方面的影响。

TNow, let’s do an exercise.(出示课件,运用四个表情单词将句子填写完整。)

T: Can you read these words? Let’s read together.

在完成练习时,首先让孩子们集体朗读了单词。

T: Can you fill these boxes with the words?

(找同学填写句子时,请另外一位同学上前指出此单词。)

在全班范围内订正答案。在确定答案后,教师读前半部分I fell……让孩子们读后半部分,这样再次对新单词进行复习。

T: “feel” means……

The students read these sentences together.

Step3: Learn new structure

T: Please listen carefully. I fell happy. Are you feeling happy?

S1: Yes, I am.

T: Today, I lost my bag, so I feel sad.

  Are you feeling sad?

S1: No, I am not.

(通过口头提问的方式,让孩子们回答问题,从而学习如何回答,让学生教学生。)

T: Can you like me talk about the feeling about yourself and asking your friend’s feeling?

  And you can use this structure I feel…… Are you feeling ……”(让学生看大屏幕)

T: Now please do exercises with your partner.(给学生时间,让他们和同桌做练习,熟悉句型。)

The teacher make sure the students can use this structure, choose someone make dialogue in the class.

T: Please look at here, I have got four faces, they are ……

Let the students say these words.

T: Now I will call one student come here, and I give he or she a face, and you can use Are you feeling……”guess his or her feeling.

请学生上台,从四个面孔中任意抽出一张藏于背后,由同学来猜他现在的心情。

S2: Are you feeling …?

S1: Yes/ No.

在学生做了三四组之后,向全班其他学生出示表情,请这一位同学来询问全班,这样做能更好的照顾全班!

Step4 : Learn the text

1: Look and listen.

T: Just now, we talk about the feeling. Do you want to know, how about Lingling?

Is she feeling happy, sad, angry or happy?

Listen and think four questions

a \Is Lingling feeling sad?

b \Is Lingling thinking angry?

c \Does Lingling miss China?

d\ What is she going to give Amy on her birthday?

Then play the CD-ROM again, tell them listen and repeat.

Give them time, let them read the text by themselves.

Check the reading.

Step5: Homework.

a\ Listen and repeat

b\ Ask your parents how they feel and try to help them as possible as you can .

c\ Finish Activity book Module 9 Unit 1.
